Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are an economical and multi-functional nanofiller that can further elevate the versatile performance of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP). The past two decades have seen significant progress in design, fabrication, characterization CNTs modified FRPs (CNT-FRPs). introduction has been proven to enhance key mechanical properties CNT-FRPs endow composite with additional functional properties. In this review, fabrication routes CNT incorporation into first discussed, then critical effects on various described. Next, as a complement experimental results, modeling studies included reveal underlying structural effects, followed by discussion reinforcement toughening mechanisms CNT-FRPs. intent review is provide comprehensive summary FRP composites, shed light future research development composites.
